this is one of the most touching song of the KD/MM . it seems the story goes when KD was in need of money he asked ALS to lend but could not get and hence this line came off , it seems . . correct me if i am wrong so that i can delete the post if my details are wrong .

CSB Sir,

I have also heard the same from Mr.Mahendra Raj / Mr. Manisegaran, 2 veterans who had written a lot on Kavignar !

Dear NYM,

I get a feeling that the rhythm for this song is similar to Malarendra mugam ondru sirikkattum ( Kadhalikka neramillai )

Amazing that MSV-TKR could bring different feeling to a single rhythm ! Shocked Very Happy

Dear Mr. Balaji,
That is exactly the point. The western rhythm that comes with the pi ano punches are in the Rock & Roll. And as TMS voice is coming the rhythm goes with the traditional with the 'Thundhuna' plucking which is very unique for village folk song.
