This PSB solo from the film VAZHKAI PADAGU is one of the best pathos sung by the ace singer. It is combination of excellent lyrics(philosophy, recalling the days of childhood,high human qualities) beautiful singing and very well enacted by the lead players especially Devika.


MSV had employed a minimum of musicians in this number and easily among his top composition. Hats off to the Master of Melody.

This film was made in Hindi also and this particular was sung by Mannadey (Muskura laadle le muskura) Shankar Jaikishan unusually chose Manna to sing for the hero Rajendra kumar and he did a fine job.

A song worth hearing again and again and suits well for posting in the
forum column in my view. I welcome comments.
