Dear friends!
It is past midnight now...suddenly am I seized by our master's youthful melody that I had relished in my school days, in the seventies. The song starting with 'Azaiththall varavidil thudippen..', I believe from the film Ellam Avale, was gracefully sung by SPB and VJ. A creation by our master, straight from some divine plane of existence, filled only with bliss! I do not know how to share my joy of just remembering this song, out of nowhere, all of a sudden, and what cell in my brain had triggered this song from the old forgotten closets of my head, only God would know! My joy knows no limit now!
I can recall the sudden tabla bursting into the song when SPB goes 'iruttil..', and the song transcends from the western styled beats and background to our Indian mood. His casual laughter, cajoling, oh, the response from VJ, I am thrilled! The flute, ..
I am attempting to search this song in the net, and waiting to get some reliable link...

Maybe the above link might work?

I do not know if this song was discussed here? I tried to perform a search within our site, but could not find any link so far. I would request friends to rediscover this song for me and so many like me, to live again in our golden forgotten school days. Please give more details of this song.

The other song by Jeyachandran was, of course, played more in all radios while this song was heard more or only (?) in Ceylon.

I profusely thank God for making me remember this song, and many more such songs created by our master!

Thank one and all,
Sai Saravanan

Dear Dr. Saravanan,
Another rare song from MSV-SPB-VJ combo. I have initiated this song quite a long ago some where in this forum. I don't exactly remember but may be either under SPB - MSV or VJ-MSV discussions. Please check out.
This song is from the film ELLAM AVALE, starring Mu.Ka.Muthu, Chandrakala, among others. Directed by Amirtham, who happened to direct MSV's own film "Amarakaviyam".

Ellam Avale was famous among MSV fans, due to the song "Naan Varaindha Oviyame" sung by P. Jayachandran.

I am giving two more links for the song Azhaithal Varavidil.

Dear Raghavendran and Ramki Sirs,
The other links for the song are good, and, in fact, more sharper in their recording. Only these 2 songs are visible in these links in this film? The rendering of the song is perfect, the planning of the interludes seem magical and beauty unending and everlasting...I am able to relive my school days again!
Thanks,
Sai Saravanan
