Dear Mr.Srikumar,
The same way the following 2 songs are entirely different. Both with TMS.
1. Kannan Vandhan - Ramu (devotional and emotional)
2. Poova Thalaya (Very Energetic and Enthusiastic)
Who can give so many flavors than our beloved MM.

One of the outstanding composition from this duo is the song from "Iru Dhuruvam", Thulli Varum Soorai Kaatru, clearly bringing you the situation in your eyes. Observe the use of shenoy, flute and bgm, bringing the situation through guitar and violin, intercepted with scream of heroine suggesting that something is happening to the heroine and the lyrics confirming this (veliyilla thottam endral meyvadharku kalai undu).

What about 'Ven palingu medai katti..' from Poojaikku vantha malar? We can feel the softness of the marble (palingu) in Sirkazhi's voie (something different from his normal tone, obviously as per MSV's moulding) and the melifluous orchestral notes of MSV. This is one of Sirkaazhi's best duets. There are many more good duets of Seerkazhi, like 'Kannile neer etharku' from Policekaaran Magal, 'Mabazhaththottam..' from Oli Vilakku, 'Kutraala malaiyile..' from Uyiraa maanamma, 'vatta vattap paaraiyile..' from Pazhani etc. In the same fil Pazhani, there is also a delightful solo, 'Annaachchi vetti kattum' sung for Nagesh.

Thanks Mr. Sivakumar. Aaarodum is of course one of the best folk songs of Tamil films.

About the song, 'Annaachchi vetti kattum,' I have erroneously mentioned that this sing was sung for Nagesh. This is sung for Sivaji. There is a small portion sung for Nagesh but this portion is by AL Raghavan.
