I wish the Adminstrators store all such collections and create a folder.

There was a grand piano programme a year back and Mr.Vaidy promised to share the recordings with the world. It is still awaited.

Friends,
Recently the programme of Amudha Gaanam 1000 was got up as though it was a function for our MM! Thanks to Mega TV and all their team members, especially Mr.Aadhavan. I watched most of it.
The highlight of the show was the presence of many key members of our MM. To mention a few: Tabla Prasad, Tumba Shekar, and a few more, who I do not recognise. I was thrilled to see Mr.Prasad and Mega TV showed mostly his fingers while playing and not himself much. It was a treat to watch him play. It was magic for my eyes! The energy of Mr.Shekar was enormous. My thirsty eyes feasted on their hands while they moved mesmerizingly.

Who was the other tabla player, if any of our friends have watched? Who was the triple congo player? Please inform.
Thanks,
Sai Saravanan

Dear friends,
I casually happened to be browsing the TV channels this morning (Sunday), and happened to sight a programme with reference to our MM. I could not watch completely though, but could follow well.
This one was a programme with an interview with (Shankar) Ganesh by Madam Bob in Sun TV. When Madan Bob enquired about his asociation with MM and the period of work under him, Ganesh immediately replied that he was actively working until Aayirathil Oruvan with MM. Madan then questioned whether he too left MM like Ramamurthy, and at the same time. He reacted back saying that MM is in his heart, and he cannot leave him! He was frank as ever.

Mr. Ravi,

Was it Mr. Nathan?
He gave a saxaphone program on MSV songs a few years back at Kamarajar Arangam. He is a great fan of MSV. While playing certain notes, he was showing his admiration for the composition by facial and bodily gestures.

If I recollect correctly, this was Mr.Nathan, the bearded gentleman. He plays many wind instruments, especially the sax, flute, etc., and always makes the comment about losing interest in studies due to MM!!
