Another diamond in the crown of our Master is that He has composed maximum number of songs in two different versions. Some of these gems are –

பார்த்த ஞாபகம் இலைலேயா (புதிய பறைவ)

அம்மம்மா தம்பி என்று (ராஜபார்ட் ரங்கதுைர)
நாைள நமேத (நாைள நமேத)
இந்தப் பச்ைசக் கிளி்க்ெகாரு (நிதிக்குத் தைல வணங்கு)
அண்ணன் ஒரு ேகாயிெலன்றால் (அண்ணன் ஒரு ேகாயில்)
என் ேகள்விக்ெகன்ன பதில் (உயர்ந்த மனிதன்)
ேதடி வரும் ெதய்வ சுகம் (நிமிர்ந்து நில்)
ெசாந்தம் எப்ேபாதும் (ப்ராப்தம்)

Of the above, ெநஞ்சம் மறப்பதில்ைல has more than 2 versions.
The last 3 in the list, though have only one version in the movie, have been composed in two different versions by the Legend for our listening pleasure. The one and only MSV can do this.

I have a feeling that "வீடு ேநாக்கி ஓடுகின்ற நம்ைமேய நாடி நிக்குேத அேனக நன்ைமேய உண்ைமேய" (what a lyric and what a composition) from பதி பக்தி has also two versions (happy and sorrow).

Vasanthangal varum munne... from the movie Lalitha (I think so).
One version is by MM and another by Suseela.
A melodious song.

Dear SRS,

"Indha Pachaik Kilikkoru" is very much there in my list. Similarly you have mentioned "Athai Magal Rathinathai" in your earlier posting, which too I have covered in my list. Probably these have skipped your attention. Any way, thanks for the other additions.

It is simply amazing that our Master has composed so many numbers in two different versions. This is possible by the one and only MSV.

Dear friends,
I just saw this posting. Very good listing! There could be some gems, only that we have to recollect!
There is an interesting piece in Ninaithale Inikkum: "Vaniley or Sayanara". The happier version is when the troupe takes off to Malaysia, and the sad one when they return. Both the versions are unique, short and, of course, sweet! The orchestration has been memorable. I still listen to them every now and then.
