K.Balachander's movies; "AVARGAL", "ABOORVA AGANGAL", "MOONDRU MUDICHU", "NIZHAL NIJAMAGIRADHU" - Timeless movies and timeless music in those movies; Will suit for any period of time. I still wonder how he has imagined those concepts and taken those movies daringly those times;

Dear friends,
As Mr Ram has said, MSV had worked with many new wave directors and composed for many unconventional films. One such is the film by Komal Swaminathan, Oru Indhiya Kanavu. Suhasini played the role of an anthropologist and Vairamuthu MSV combo has produced a marvellous creation in this film - from frame one to frame last.
Why not discuss this ?

Dear MSVs

ORU INDHIYA KANAVU is class collection for MSV. All the songs are good and two songs are excellent. One sung by B.S. Sasirekka, fully Gramiya song and the BGM is one of the best noteworthy. Another song 'ANAMIGA' Puthu kavithai of Vairamuthu. In fact, first Puthu kavithai has been utilised for movie tuned by MSV. This also one of the excellent song sung by favourite singers SPB & VJ. This is song is available in Dhool.com. please download and enjoy.

Regards

Raghavankannan

I remember Vairamuthu praising a lot about the way his PUTHUKAVITHAI was composed by MSV in this film "Oru Indhiya Kanavu", in a book he had written.

DEAR FRIENDS,
On the pudhukavithai of Vairamuthu set to tune by MSV, in a recent issue of Kumudham weekly, Vairamuthu has showered a rich encomium on MM. He recalls with pride that this was the first ever instance in India, to have used a pudhukavidhai. Besides he has also acknowledged the brilliant work of MSV in that. In addition he has scripted an elaborate account of his admiration for MSV. Truly, we have always heard the richest tributes on MSV from those who have worked with him even if on a single occasion.
Warm regards Prof.K.Raman Navi Mumbai

Would somebody post that interview in this site for the benefit of the people who missed to read that issue of KUMUDHAM?
