Great way to finish your double century..
The support you have been giving to the website of our Master, the way you are sharing your excitements with others fills the whole ambience with sweetness, as MSV's music!
Your Avatar - Kalki's Ponniyin Selvan has created a sensation in our MSV club, like a "Vathiyar" song release !!!
Please continue and it is really great to have people like you here...

Dear Mr. Venkat,
Meendum Santhikkum Varai as your patent serves you to express deep affection to MSV. But ironically you do not really abide by the pharase as you visit the site more regularly than some of the moderators.PLEASE TRY SOME OTHER coinage reflecting your adoration of MSV and your more than optimal frequency of visit. How else could you have managed 200. Congrats on this milestone of yours with warm wishes for greater days ahead.
Warm regards Prof.K.Raman Madurai. _________________ Prof. K. Raman

Poonguzali, Oh that girl with wild ambitions in life ! How many times, she had towed me also to the shores of Srilanka and those dreadful Yaanai iravuthurai !! I will definitely look for her whenever I visit Kodikarai and check whether that Kuzagar temple is still there . Vinatha, you and Venkat have created an urge now to read Ponniyin Selvan yet another time
Dear Mr.Venkat, Great to see men like you showering the love and respect towards MSV. All your posts carry a friendly warmth and admiration for the mesmerizing music melody King. Thank you Sir. We are very happy to sail along with you. Cheers |

Dear all,
The great artist of Ponniyin Selvan is Maniam and his son is Maniam Selvan. I typed as Manian. Sorry for the typo error.
Dear Professor,
I have made a small correction in my signature. Please note it... _________________ Meendum Santhippom Viraivil...

Thank you dear Professor...
It is all our MSVClub Crew's write ups which inspires me to involve and dedicate my time...
My only feeling is that I do not know Carnatic or rather any form of music...
So I was not able to do a technical analysis of Shri.MSV's compositions as you people do...
But I enjoy every moment of his music...
I continue to give my best about Shri.MSV, his compositions from my point of view in my own style... _________________ Meendum Santhippom Viraivil...

Dear Mr.Venkat,
There is nothing to worry. I am as ignorant of different forms of music. Yet, I try writing ,based on the solace I am able to draw from Shri.MSV's music. Please do not bracket me with people who are knowledgeable in this domain. Despite such limitations we try to participate, though with the sense of deprivation that we can not go farther. So long as we reflect our real feelings , it is easy to contribute. But, certainly I totally endorse your sentiment that " I do not know any form of music " which is a sad inner feeling for me too. Also, I too feel honoured because people [the knowledgeable ones], seem to accept my writings. I am not too sure if I do justice to my efforts at all. Hopefully, from the elite company of this forum, sometime I may be more familiar with the various dimensions of MSV by observing what the experts say. Perhaps "No Knowledge" on music is an advantage for keeping an open mind free from alignments with controversial interpretations. Certainly it should have been God's will to have kept me ignorant of music , HE knowing my qualities of strong likes and dislikes. The feeling of inadequacy haunts me , but I can do nothing except to take it in the stride. Relieved to learn that there are others of the same cadre, though they are better off in other domains.
Warm regards Prof.K.Raman Madurai. _________________ Prof. K. Raman

Dear Professor & Venkat ..
I think what we talk about "Knowledge in Music" is highly relative. For me, one thing is absolutely certain. One who has good ears and an open mind to appreciate good music can be termed "highly knowledgeable".
What we all write or share here, is just an expression (or) reflection of what we enjoy(ed). The way of expression varies with each one of us owing to taste, experience etc. Each of our articles is complete in its own way.
Dear Professor...Personally to me (and am sure for everyone), your articles carry such a great value and without a doubt it serves as an asset for the website. This is not just for words.

Dear Mr.Ramki,
Thanks a lot for your wish.
Dear Professor and Mr.Ram,
Thanks for your kind and encouraging words.
I agree with you Ram that our Professor's writings were of great value.
I would like to share an incident here.
After I completed my M.Sc (Maths) in April 1990, I wished to learn Violin along with one of my freind in Music College.
We went for the interview.
At that time Thiru.T.R.Pappa was the President of the Music College.
When I entered in to the room, he showed me a Violin and asked me to play it.
I told, எனக்கு வாசிக்க தெரியாது.
அதற்கு அவர், "சரிப்பா நீ போகலாம்." என்று சொன்னார்.
Then after that sariya sandharpam amayavillai sangeetham kathukarathukku. I missed that chance...
Even now I am very much interested in learning Tabla. But Office poitu varathukke time sariya irukku...
But oru wooden surface/layer/plywood (or any palagai) kidaicha vidamatten...
I will try to reproduce the rhythm of Shri.MSV's BONGOS, Tabla, Mridangam...
Antha alavukku naan avaroda rasigana irukarathula romba perumai padaren...
His music has inspired me like anything... _________________ Meendum Santhippom Viraivil...
