VENNIRA AADAI ----- VIII TIT BITS
Dear friends,
This is the last segment on V A .Herein I try to bring pieces of information that cannot be treated elsewhere. V A had special styles of publicity with small statements describing the plight of Shoba the mentally derailed girl. Interestingly as days went by, more new bits were added and the font styles were too "patented" in the sense the likes of which have not appeared before or after.
"AvaL edharko siriththaal , eharko azhudhaaL" was a famous piece of advt, in which 2 or 3 important stills were aligned and laid out much like how a stretch of 35 film with its perforations would appear. In all ads,
Chitraalaya logo and motto "Alai Kadalil -- " faithfully appeared.
Thus far, I have not touched upon Stills in CVS movies. The job was always entrusted toTiruchy. R.Arunaachalam. After several years the gentleman abbreviated his name as "Aanaa Roonaa ". Like Vincent , ARUNACHALAM was a specialist in his job and he also enjoyed a fan following.
Unlike the present, all fans of all artistes except those of Star actors. were silence- personified as, discussing cinema in public had no patronage at homes and institutions. It is the precise reason for all MSV fans staying aloof though mentally rejoicing MSV's work for themselves in total private adoration. I know how MSV was looked upon as a massive composer in my days at college both as a student and later as lecturer. In V A , V R have certainly carved out an exclusive niche in providing a variety without sharing a resemblance to something else. Lest they should not be legends till the minute, decades after these movies have appeared.
Thank you all for being able to share some grand nostalgia with you all.
Warm regards Prof.K.Raman Madurai _________________ Prof. K. Raman

Dear Professor,
Excellent 'series of analysis' on different aspect of Vennira Adai and
Hats Off to you for your unique style and content.
After reading thro your articles, I feel like seeing the movie with you and all other MsvClubMembers, that too, at once !
When we meet next, can we organise this ?
Sometime back, I saw this movie in a TV channel and immediately I took out my Laptop in the late night and started writing about it and posted in somepage of our website (ofcourse in a nutshell). That is the sort of 'feel' you get when you see a movie like this. The musical support our MSV TKR had given to this movie - Oh - it is unexplainable since it can only be 'felt'.
Looking forward to more of your wonder-writings !
Regards
