Dear Ram,
"manjaL poosi..." is actually continuation of "manjaL mugam niram mAra...". In the latter, charaNam strating wiht the words

"kEtpArkellam karNan kodhuthiruppAn
kELamal avanukku ivaL kodhuAL..."

is the most melodious part of the song.

Dear Viswapriyan,

You are right, but I thought of mentioning "Manjal Poosi" separately as it deserves a special mention. The sequence by itself can be taken as a beautiful piece, owing to its melody and Thaalam (rhythm) One of the beautiful compositions in Misra Chaapu Thaalam.

What a lyric???

Manjal Poosi
Malargal Chootti
Valayal Pootti
Thilagam Theetti

Kannadasan lives in these words!!! What a Great Kavithuvam ???!!!

Another Valaikaappu song is there by PS in the movie "Aval Sumangalithan" something like this "Ponmani kangalil... indru valaikaappu..."
