Dear Fans of Maestro MSV,
We ve enough discussed mutukalokangal and such classical raga based
numbers of the master..how about some real lighter ones crafted with VERY FUTUTURISTIC elan and format..for eg.,Pavalakodiyile muthukal kortal..though a raga based one crafted in FUSION every INCH!! start with LRE `s Prelude humming, then organ, cello violins and triple drum and brush on snares, counterpoint with an egyptian like verse in Dmajor, piano chords the whole prelude itself gives a background of misty mountain, chilled wind...then TMS starts Pallavi the melody in raga but BGM with straight western rock1 beat...interlude so haunting again with LRE`S hum..folowed by tremeloSTR.,..anupallavi in so much of yearning but subtle..thus it continues with a big but compact orchestra ABSOLUTELY under control of the maestro..this song belongs to the category of Afro-egyptian lore like AayiratilOruvan, but from Panam Padaitavan..the Picturisation as in many MSV`s compositions, failed to match his contibute..yet MY BEST SELECTION OF ALL HIS CONTRIBUTION FOR its futuristic [came in 1964 but matched even music of 80s!!] HOW DID OUR MASRTER BRING THIS-RAGA-WETERN RHYTHM-EGYPTIAN LORE-in one composition none parelled so far? Pl. listen to this number anyone in good digitally BASSED system and reply.

application, overlap, appragios but that all came in
his music purely out of love for music.. |
