Dearest Members,
In a lighter vein : “Let us not forget,… there is a huge Society (which comprises of innumerable Prasannaas) as the above which co-exists with us (Unfortunately for them!…). Strangely, we are the misfits… they aren’t!”…
Coming back to the point,… I would prefer to repeat what I posted to describe Venkys and Rams…
Millions are born…
Fewer are those who survive…
Still Fewer are those who are Self-sufficient…
Still Fewer are those who are Noble…
Still Fewer are those who are Pious…
Still Fewer are those who Serve the Mankind…
Fewest are those who attain the Blissful!…
The Fewest are YOU!…who have recognized the blissful!…
All through, what we are enjoying about, is a Camphor; Don’t we know it is beyond the recognizing abilities of some body?…

_________________ Saradha Prakash |

_________________ Saradha Prakash |

aha.... very hot discussion is going on here.
i missed it because not attended for a while.
What all members told here are acceptable. many v.i.p.s are doing the same mistake.
that day when a cameraman by name rahman was giving 'sirappu then kinnam', when he telecasted songs from m.g.r. starred movies, he mentioned them as 'thalaivar song... thalaivar song' like that, but never tell any name of a lyric writer or music dorector. many of them were msv sir compossed songs and few like 'adimaipen' and 'maatukara velan' were by kvm. but he never told none of them.
at the same time he put only one song by ilaiyaraja, and he did not forget to give a lecture about his composition and all.
why people are like this?. |

Mr.Irenehastings,
Reason is simple. With lots of enthusiasm, Shri MSV was prasing everyone aroung him like singers, lyricwriters, directors and actors for making the song ever memorable one. But it was vice versa; Illayaraja always maintained silence and everyone around him was singing praises about him at every given opportunity. And only those things get registered in the minds of people who never introspect at all.

instead of discussing about the wonderfl song of 1967 , we are now getting into the anchor of prog and war of words will dilute the energy and the focus.
back to song , it is a fast moment in the film ,in the song and emotions run and our V ( WE) had not chosen a slow melody but a fast number keeping in pace with the situations and as usual he excells in his own exams.
see the rola of MD .he had to have a differnt BG for sivaji situations, one for the dancer gitanjali and another for muthuraman and vijaya
interestingly if you watch the movie , the muthuraman related scenes do happen in first floor and as sivaji enters he will have all his ears of the dance and conversation and as a viewer the whole narration will be in lesser volume for us . so much care they have taken for the product .what a rasanai they all have |

Wonderful song
As regards to the prasanna's discussion, yes for most of the singers or comperers or whover it is , Music is born after 76 only that is what they think
There are many instances where people say Folk music was brought into TFM only by IR ..
we just need to ignore rather than debating with them
