Honestly, I never was confident that India can beat either Australia or South Africa , leave alone West Indies or Pakistan.

Hence, even if they had moved to the round of 8 , they would have lost to the above 2 big teams. But in the process, we would not have felt the real pinch .

Anyway, the exit is good for Indian cricket as we may look at new options & new strategies.

Loot at Sachin Tendulkar . He has to make up his mind now as playing for world cup 2011 is far fetched & a distant dream . The most ideal option will be to retire gracefully after playing a couple of seasons so that we all will carry good memories of this great player.

Ganguly, though had a remarkable come back will soon retire .

So is the case of Dravid who is already a liability in one dayers and has been surviving purely as a captain in one day format though he has few more years left in tests.

Above all, build a young team .
