MSVTIMES.COM celebrates it's 10th Anniversary!!!

Yes.....10 years have passed by since we launched this website on December 6, 2006. Though we should have conducted this event during 2016 itself technically observing the completion of a decade, due to unavoidable cirscumstances we had to delay it. Better late than never...

March 25, 2017 (Saturday) - Pitty Theagaraya Hall on GN Chetty Road in T'Nagar (overlooking Kannadasan Statue) will be the venue where yet another musical treat awaits you all. Guitar Bala and his orchestra will perform live for which a line up of absolute melodies have been chosen.

Doyen, Legendary Drummer Late Mr. Noel Grant will be this year's awardee. A man who beat his life to glory, wielding a stick all through his life, Noel Grant has been synonym with drums. It is our greatest pride yet again to honour this Musician who was so adored by Shri. MSV always. A few months back, when we had paid a visit to Mrs. P. Susheela's house, to our total surprise she started rendering "Thedi Varum Deiva Sugam" with such total ease that we were totally awestruck! Immediately after this she fondly recalled how Noel Grant played havoc with his sticks and brush over the drums paying a huge tribute to his playing skills! What moment could be better, than to honour this "Man of Beats"??

It has always been customary for us to invite every rasika of Shri. MSV and hence no ticketing this time also. As any event involves an expenditure, we would humbly request all of you to contribute whatever you could to make this evening lively. For the past 10 years, we have been organising this event without fail / break only due to generous contributions received from true devotees of Shri. MSV. We would continue doing this as long as we are supported in all our efforts.

Thank you all once again and please be there at the venue above mentioned.

Dear All,

10 years, in the service of spreading glorious work ,of Shri Msv. It is no mean feat, taking into consideration that all our programmes, has been done without ticketing.

Glad to note that the legendary Noel is honoured posthumously. The idea of honouring musicans , who had worked with Msv has been greatly appreciated by the musicans.

I appeal to all the fans of Msv to come in large numbers and make 10th anniversary a great sucess.

Kudos to Ramki, Vaidy & Sabesan - founders of Msv times. com.
