Dear MSV Club members!

Here is yet another awaited announcement to all. Rare Photos of MSV are added to the Gallery -> Rare Photos section of MSVTimes.com. That includes MSV with his orchestra in recording studios, MSV's trip to Russia etc. The core crew had a tough time to search and find these photos in MSV's residence for the benefit of his fans! Kudos !!! Don't forget to post back your comments here!

Enjoy these precious snaps only from MSVTimes.com !!! Very Happy

Nice to see more photos in the gallery. Even personalities like Film News Ananthan or some other old-time film photographers could help by giving some good photos to be copied here.

Thanks for your comments!

Film News Anandan can definitely be a good source! Crew/Club members close to him (personally or geographically) can help in this regard.

Other suggestion can be there was a series in Vikatan/Kumudam in 80s. Titled "Naan Oru Rasikan" written by MSV. I had a thought to scan it completely, compile as a PDF and post in the website for download. We can definitely get rare photos in that process. (My dad has the complete series) Cool

That is a project by itself. But we need to take that up.

Ram

Thanks a lot for uploading rare photos. Thrill to see MSV with piano and with orchestra. I think KD also seen behind MSV during recording.
Will be interesting if they mentioned song name also along with photo. Wink

regards
ramesh

In one of the photos (5th photo in the album) where MSV is playing piano, there is a person standing behind him with a "juice and straw" in his hand. He is none other than Ganesh of Shankar-Ganesh duo !!! Very Happy
