It’s also my pleasure to let you all know that the incumbent Team Leader is Sriram Laxman alias Vatsan who will oversee the entire functioning of this newly revamped Trust.

Our prime task is to reconstruct the existing website which has been invaded by thousands of spam related pests. It is for this reason that we have completely put on hold the functioning of most of the links except the one that allows you to write in our forum. Our mission is to create a thoroughly new looking vibrant website ensuring hassle free working of all the links. As this may take a while, we urge you to continue your support by keeping the interactive forum alive by uploading your posts.

The 9th anniversary of MSVTIMES.COM will be celebrated on February 20, 2016 at Sir Pitty Theagaraya Hall, GN Chetty Road, T’Nagar, Chennai 600 017 (Near Kannadasan Statue) at 530PM. Padma Bhushan Dr. P. Susheela will be the guest of Honour. Two greatest of musicians in MSV’s orchestra - Shehnai Wizard Satyam and Mandolin Wizard Raju will be honoured posthumously this year. Guitar Bala will enthrall you all with a musical concert titled "MSV's 3M".

We now request you all to leave no stone unturned in generating financial contributions from your known / unknown sources to meet our expenses for this event. Payment in favour of “MSVTIMES.COM” by crossed cheque or DD payable at Chennai or thro’ RTGS to Account No. 2616101009394, Canara Bank, West Mambalam Branch, IFSC Code CNRB 0002616.

Dear All,

We are extremly fortunate to have Smt. P Suseela as guest of honour. Shri Msv had great musicans in his vast team. Shenoy sathyam and versatile Mandolin raju played a huge role and their choice is highly gratfying.

We are working hard to give a excellent programme. Guitar bala will be performing and iam sure all msv times.com members will have a memorable evening.

Placing request to the members for generous contribution.

Its so nice that PS is attending again MSVTimes program

I suggest VATSAN to have an interactive session with her in the form of questions and answers.rather than allowing her to speak extempore.

That way we may get to know better on compositions

its for the new managements consideration

WISHING THE FUNCTION GRAND SUCCESS

"Team Leader" is too big a phrase to be accorded to me !!! The 9th anniversary function too, as has been in the case with all other functions will be the result of a collective effort with each and every core member assuming consummate responsibility and ownership. Infact there has not even been a formal apportioning of responsibilities, it so happened that all members picked it all up from where they were left off last time around and continued in the same vein. Taking on the reins as well as delegation is a strangely automated process here and things seem to naturally fall into place. So that's that !!!! Guitar Bala's integrity with respect to intending to present songs in all their nuanced glory is unquestionable and we are extremely happy to partner with him once again !!!! P Susheela madam is ofcourse is a most welcome "Guest of Honor" as she volunteered to make a worthwhile contribution despite her Trust just managing to keep itself afloat. Her's is a contribution that is happening unsolicited, that is out of her own volition. A major stimulating factor with respect to her was that a wealthy sponsor with active interest in fine arts did not react too favourably to her request for donation for this event Smile The 9th Anniversary function promises to be yet another "one a kind" event that would stand as a testimony to the unique presentation values msvtimes.com brings along !!! Please do contribute promptly and be present for the function as well !!!

dear KRS

you cannot judge msvians reaction with posts in forum

The visitors to the forum is reduced as there is no fresh writings.
and there is no general posting either .
if some one keeps posting on events or the management plans may be visitors would visit to see what is in store .

Let re vamping take place meanwhile my suggestion is people like Balaji ,Vatsan, Sampath ,rajesh can write analytical posts which will make people to come by .

i am posting in mellisai mannar MSV page the postings from msv times only they have been reaching minimum 800 to 3000 people and 10-15 % respond .obviously atleadt 5 % of them would visit the forum . so new articles would def improve visitors .

may be you can take up this in yr next meeting.

Dear All,

As Vatsan had written, this is going to be an anniversary to remember for many reasons and primarily, the first without the hero himself - Shri. MSV. Since the time we launched MSVTIMES.COM, come December, MSV would fondly ask me...."enna vaidy avargaley, indha varusham dom.com functionla enna panna poringa?? What an informal way he used to move along with us all these years?? Miss you MSV...

I am not sure how many of you have logged into MSVTIMES.COM through the homepage link instead of the usual shortcut we all take to the forum. The details of the 9th anniversary have already been uploaded for the benefit of all the members.

Dear Vaidy sir and friends,
How fortunate are/were all of you who had such opportunities to have been so near to MM! When he asked you so informally, it is verily childlike innocence, affection, and what else but love for one and all, irrespective of any barriers...! It is but our misfortune to be missing him at this hour of anniversary...I could attend a couple of our anniversary functions and even I could feel the love of his very presence. I can realise how much you all would be missing him, to have been so closely moving as a family for so many years! I am sure, he will grace this year also in his inimitable way, moving as a subtle breeze as his music will flow.
Thanks,
Sai

Dear Sai Saravanan & Members,

Thank you all for pitching in to bear our burden. It is very true that we shall be missing our God of music for the very first time in 9 years. I am sure he would have really been the happiest this year as two of his most favourite musicians are being honoured. It is rather unfortunate that Shri. MSV chose to be in the company of all those in Heaven and to shower the choicest of His Blessings on all of us.

Every year we begin this exercise with a deficit (like our Government), but as days go by, I really don't know from where funds will pour in, but it did this time also. I solely (to be precise Soul'ly) attribute this only to the vibrant possitive presence of our Guru till eternity, Shri. Shri.MSV in all our sincere endeavours.

I am really excited about the whole event as some great moments are in store for all of you and there are even some first time ever concepts worked out as part of this year's celebrations. With Kannadasn right outside this venue and MSV present in every soul attending this event, I can only visualise Blessings in absolute abundance. Will see you all on the February 20, 2016. Please do come and experience this unique fun of which you and I are very much a part, besides MSV and all his musicians!!

Thank you Sabesan, Vatsan, Shiva, Rengasamy, SRS, Sreekumar, Narayanan and Sampath for all your invaluable contribution in terms of time, logistics and money. Special thanks to Padma Bhushan Dr. P. Susheela Trust, Dhool Saravanan (Dubai), Dr. Damodaran Pachaiappan (Coimbatore), Giri Trading & Musee Musicals and to all those who have contributed their might to the best of their ability from Madras and other places...

CHEERS

MSV IS MUSIC FOREVER!!
