Dear All,
What a day it turned out to be. Around 4 pm a strong downpour was looking imminent. Rain gods too helped us. Great work by Bala and his troupe. Each member of the troupe gave a splendid performance.
The real heros of this programme is Vaidy, Krs, sreekumar & Naryanan. Vaidy did a commendable job, organising funds, getting the design done for banner, preparation of songs & coordination with Bala troupe.
This time we issued entry pass and this no easy task was handled very well by Krs. Sreekumar, Naryanan, Sabesan Srs & sampath & vathsan contributed greatly for the sucess of the programme. I thank everyone for their contribution. Thanking Ragasudha for the photos. REMINISCENCES, will be etched in memory forever.

Hi,
The evening of 23rd August 2015 will ever remain etched in our memories. The Tribute to our Master was wonderful, very well planned and organized. The choice of songs, the orchestra which included Violins, Trumpet & Trambone and the performance by the musicians and singers was simply fantastic.
Hats off to everyone involved, M/s Vaidy & Srivatsan in particular, for organizing and presenting this Show in an excellent manner. The audience thoroughly enjoyed each and every song and acknowledged with thundering applause. ‘Ullathil Nall Ullam’ was repeated on demand.
'Aada Varalam' was wonderfully played on the Guitar by MSV's grandson Arvind (Mr Gopi's son). Piano was superbly played first by the grandson of Shri Karakuruchi Arunachalam (for 'Naalaam Naalaam Thirunaalaam' - the opening number played as instrumental) and by a young girl for 'Enna Enna vaarthaigalo'. Kindly excuse me for forgetting their names.

Out of the List of Songs you will find in the Album, the following numbers could not be performed probably due to the time factor:
1. Aarodum Mannil Engum
2. Veenai Pesum
3. Ponmagal Vandhal
4. Ninaithale Inikkum
5. Partha Gnabagam
6. Netruvarai Nee Yaaro
7. Ninaithu Parkiren
8. Oruvan Kadhalan
However, ‘Vaan Nila Nila Alla’ and ‘Mannikka Vendukiren’, which are not in the list, were performed.
Once again, hats off and thanks a million for this wonderful and most memorable show. We look forward to many more such programmes in the near future.
Thanks and regards,
Venu Soundar |

Dear friends,
Thanks to both Raghavendran & Venu sirs for those wonderful photos. Especially, it is nostalgic to see The Harmonium being accorded special status. The auditorium evokes an old world charm with the orchestra photo as its backdrop - a very thoughtful idea from Vaidy sir indeed! The excellent team work of MSVTimes is visible in these photos...
Thanks,
Sai Saravanan |
