Dear Friends,
The song under question has unique assemblage as a chorus in the sense that it is a chorus from the word go.[Normally chorus enters the fray as a song progresses;] But this song begins on a multi-voice opening where after group singing comes into play at various points along.
The prelude of instruments occurs as a chorus to be quickly joined in by 'vArai en thOzhi'
Another feature is the conduit of dialogue to introduce the song mood; this dialogue piece between the Ganesans -Sivaji and Gemini is also a part of the graphite record for this song with the famous utterance ending on "nandri AanandhA" with orchestral piece closely on heels.
"maNakkOlam konda magaLE
pudhu mAkkOlam pOdu mayilE
kulam vAzha pAdu kiLiyE" are expressions that identify the solemnity in a wedding
'iravOdu inbam perugAdho
irandOdu moondru vaLarAdho is reference to the ultimate outcome; these are crafty styles of KaNNadAsan in portraying the sequence in terms -absolutely decent and articulate in intent.

There are no doubt a range of expressions that have pepped up this number and I wish our friends suggest their responses. Will MSV allow an occasion to slip by? NEVER. He has showcased his mastery over all domains of composing and recording of cine songs. If LRE's interview on this song is any indicative it is just the amazing tenacity of MSV for quality-as this song consumed the whole day from 9.00 AM to late into night, as several components had to be held in congenial flow through a live recording as any error in any segment would invite a repeat of the whole piece from the beginning.A case of monumental patience indeed.
More to it soon.
Warm regards K.Raman Madurai.
