|
|
Dear All,
As the anniversary celebration of MSVTIMES.COM is being debated by forum members & crew, I wish to put forth my suggestion. For years we have been honouring musicians belonging to Shri. MSV's orchestra, great gesture indeed.
May I now suggest that the widows of Late Shehnai Satyam & Late Mandolin Raju be honoured (subject to availability of funds, of course) this year. Late Satyam & Raju have been real pillars of MSV and it is only fair that we hounour the widows of these musicians par excellence as we never got an opportunity to do so earlier because of their demise.
The cash award may not be a real succour to them but be worthy of it's cause in itself as they might get an opportunity to interact with Shri. MSV during the programme to re-live those memorable moments of their late husband's career (which may not have occurred for various reasons) with the living Legend.
This is only a suggestion & I leave the rest for others to deliberate & arrive at a conclusion.
CHEERS
MSV IS MUSIC!!!

Dear Mr. Vaidy,
I welcome your suggestion on the posthumous award to be given to MR. Raju and Sathyam. Many a times shri. Msv has mentioned about team work and these 2 members have played a pivotal role. Quite confident the crew and the members will take this good idea. |

Dear Mr.Vaidy,
Your suggestion deserves serious consideration. Certainly we have missed the bus in honouring MS Raju and Shenoy Sathyam. Obviously, the members of their families can share some nostalgia with the legend and his admirers. I expect the core crew to appeal for liberal donations. There should be no other hiccups, as the cause is noble indeed.
I trust our members would gladly lend helping hands.
Warm regards K.Raman Madurai. _________________ Prof. K. Raman

Dear Friends,
For the last couple of days, SMS alerts suggest of the Anniversary being slated for 9-02-2013. But, the information and the related details are yet to appear in any Forum thread. It would be a great help if the site managers make an official announcement along with the Proposed agenda, for outstation members; these days train tickets are hard to get unless trips are planned well in time. Also, a brief agenda on the anniversary event will help contributors to plan for some support to the event. Kindly bestow attention and respond at the earliest.
Warm regards K.Raman Madurai. _________________ Prof. K. Raman
