Dear All,

Listen to this master piece of a composition that spontaneously inculcates a sense of “belonging” in all of us. The words of Legend Kannadasan set to tune by our Master Creator MSV, sung by the “voice of India”, I am sure will go a very long way as one of the finest tunes of Shri. MSV.

I reckon it this way…….”Those who listen to MSV can’t listen to others….And those who listen to others……......”

At forever young 90+, look at the way TMS is jiving on the stage enjoying every moment. Shri. TMS not only sang innumerable songs, but he was probably the only person in the annals of world film history to have made us identify the actors on screen (while we’re off!!!) just by listening to him.

What a fete by this singer par excellence!!!

Here’s the youtube link….Long Live TMS!!!

Cheers

MSV IS MUSIC

One of my all time favorite songs that will pump energy and enthusiasm into me whenever I listen to it.

This song was appropriately chosen for playing when MSV was marching to the stage on the occasion of our anniversary function of 2010.

Compare the 'let go' feeling of this song sung by one who has just tasted total freedom after coming out of the prison with the subdued feelings combined with an undertone of nostalgia (ஏக்கம்) of slaves expressed in 'atho anthap paravai poela.' Both are songs of liberty but there is a contrast. who else but our Master can bring out this contrast so beautifully.

Thanks Mr, Vaidhy for your copious flow of treats. It is Diwali and a continuous supply of sweets has been flowing from you. And these sweets will never become cloying.

Thanks Mr Vaidy for that song.

Another great number of the MSV-TMS-KKD combination is "சத்தியம் இது சத்தியம்" from the movie இது சத்தியம். What a lyric, what a superb composition (listen to the amazing usage of violins in the song) and what a singing. During MSV's stage shows in 1964, the opening number of the show used to be this song played as an instrumental.
