The Centre is deaf and the State is mute while ignoring the claims of MSV for the Padma Awards this year too. I remember a campaign was started in this site dedicated to the genius MD to force the government to honour the great MSV. Would appreciate if it can be revealed what happened to our endeavour. But when a man like SPB, a protegee of MSV, can be honoured with Padma Bhushan (he deserves it), I wonder why the great tutor has been ignored. The problem now for the government is they have to award MSV not with Padma Shri or Bhushan but with Padma Vibushan straightaway. Can it happen? I doubt.
Also it's time also for starting a campain to get the Padma award for PBS who has zilch to his name.
