The 83rd Birth Day of Mellisai Mannar Dr. M.S.Viswanathan was celebrated in a grand scale on 12th July 2010 at IYYAPPAN TEMPLE, Mahalingampuram, Chennai. It was a nice gathering that all LEGENDS were assembled together.

The personalities were :

12. Sri. Deva
13. Sri. Gangai Amaran
14. Sri. Shyam
15. Sri. AVM Saravanan
16. Sri. AVM Kumaran
17. Sri. Chitralaya Gopu
18. Director C.V.Rajendran
19. Sri. Chinni Jayanth

and other eminent personalities. TV Medias were also present.

All MSVTIMES.COM representatives attended the programme and got the blessing of MSV.

On behalf of MSVTIMES.COM a memento was presented to Sri. MSV.

i am glad that the function took place an das usual there has been no news in the site and after all the prog gets over a news is given like this in a post .

had this been informed thru site people like us who are in chennai could have attended the function .

i am sorry i m pained that it is not notified and if the info is only for a closed group of members where is the place for the hard core fans of master

Dear Raghavendran Sir,
Yesterday, in the morning Amudha Gaanam programme, Mr.Aadhavan had announced his birthday. I was in doubt as there were other dates mentioned earlier, and I enquired this in another posting in this same section. Thankfully, your posting with those lovely pictures have energised me. What pictures!! Lots of legends, especially, was delighted to see Jeyachandran in a new look!

Dear Raghavendran Sir,
Thanks for sharing the wonderful photos.
I missed this wonderful oppurtunity since I had to go to office on Monday, I could not attend.
After seeing the wonderful photos, I really feel that I missed a golden oppurtunity.
However I sent my mother to this function.
She was very glad about meeting our Legend and got blessings from our Master and wished him. Appo avar "Irunthu saaptutu ponga"-nu sonnaram.
My mother was very happy. Me too.

Dear All,
As per Mr.Rani Maindhan's book "Mellisai Mannar M.S.V.", the DOB is 24th June 1928.
12th July 2010 was our Master's star Punar Poosam.
I think this year its our Master's 82nd Birthday.
